Sketching Marion in Watercolor and Ink
Sketching Marion in Watercolor and Ink class is open to adults and teens. Students under age 14 must have an adult with them. We will meet at the studio 186 W. Church St Marion, Ohio for preliminary instructions and proceed to local points of interest in Marion. Students to provide their own transportation to local points of interest beyond downtown walking distance from the studio. Please come to class prepared with your supplies at a minimum, pencil and sketchbook or paper. See blog below on sketching for ideas of supplies you may want to bring. Some supplies available at the studio. Pay for one class at a time $20 ($10 for children with adult in the class, senior citizens, and Marion Women's Club Members.) or pay for all three $60. Ceramics Class Details
Introduction to Ceramics
Introduction to ceramics (pottery) will be held in the Art Loft Marion Pottery Studio. Class size 1-2 students for individual instruction. Stoneware clay will be provided up to #20 and glazes for the pieces made in the studio. Students will make hand-built pieces and wheel-thrown pieces. The pieces will be bisque-fired, glazed and then high-fired to finish the pieces. Students will learn safety in the pottery studio. Cost of the class is $200. More information to come.
