Art challenges me to find new ways of thinking, seeing, and interpreting life around me. Although life's journey led me down a different career path, art remained a constant. Formal art education came later in life.

I use many different mediums, such as clay, watercolor, and oils. I often interpret the same idea in different mediums to find the one that truly defines my vision.

I love taking pictures to capture an idea that will later become a painting. The memories inspired by the photo or a series of photos allows the emotions surrounding the capture of an image to come alive.
